Microsoft Windows Vista
was launched in November 2006 for
Business Volume, Select and MSDN partners.
Consumer and OEM
shipped February 2007. As expected, most
computers (from Dell) and all computers from HP now have Windows Vista pre-installed.
Microsoft's latest flagship desktop operating system is
available in both x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit) versions. Learn more about
Windows Vista

Windows Vista Service Pack 1
is now available via WindowsUpdate and marks a major milestone in the take
up of Windows Vista as a core business desktop operating system.
Unless otherwise stated/available, the Windows XP Printer Driver should
work OK under Windows Vista. Windows XP 64bit Edition and Windows Vista x64 drivers will be added
to the relevant downloads as and when the manufacturers make them available.
The
Drivers hosted on our site with this logo have been tested by our support
engineers on both Windows Vista Business and Ultimate Editions (both 32bit and
64bit), via a
Local (direct Printing via Standard TCP/IP Port) and via a Windows Server 2003
Print Queue. The installation of unsigned drivers generally require a local
administrator account and/or the use of User Account Control administrator
credentials.
Screenshots and Tips will appear here to assist in setting up
printers on Windows Vista, both individually and also as part of a Windows
Network.

Windows Server 2008 is the
most recent release of Microsoft Windows's server line of operating
system. Released on February 27, 2008, it is the successor to
Windows Server 2003, released nearly five years earlier. Like
Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 is built on the Windows NT 6.0
kernel.
Although available for both 32 and 64bit architectures - it is
widely predicted that 64bit will become more predominant within
corporate networks following the release of Windows Server 2008
together with Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista.
